250th Anniversary (Sestercentennial) Celebration Committee
This Celebration Committee will be formed to organize and plan a diverse program of events and activities to celebrate the Town of Mansfield’s 250th anniversary of becoming a town, which occurred on August 23, 1775.

The Conservation Commission is responsible for preserving and protecting the natural resources of the town, and has the authority to acquire and hold land, and can exercise all the powers and duties of Conservation Commissions under the General Laws.

Downtown Committee
The purpose of the Committee is to develop a vision for the downtown, to review infrastructure, parking and roads and to promote downtown events and activities.

Mansfield Local Cultural Council
Mansfield Local Cultural Council (MLCC) is a subsidiary of the Massachusetts Cultural Council. Massachusetts Cultural Council grants funding to MLCC, which then re-grants the funds to local individuals and organizations.

Municipal Building Committee
The Municipal Building Committee is responsible for developing planning reports, oversight of design plans and specifications, construction management and originally equipping all municipal and school building projects requiring structural alteration or new building construction.

In 2007, the Mansfield Select Board formed the Non-Profit Gift Fund Committee, (NPGFC), with the sole purpose of equitably distributing donated monies to Mansfield non-profit programs and projects.
